UNGA week is a set of timed movements around the United Nations and Midtown hotels. Access rules are published for that session and are not restated here.

Midtown hotelsA sedan or S-Class for the principal and another vehicle for staff is a normal split. Say who rides where.
S-ClassSeparate JFK, Newark and Teterboro parties. Landing time is not pickup time.
Airports| Movement | Book it as | Bring to the request |
|---|---|---|
| Airport to the delegation hotel | Airport transfer | Flight, terminal, bags, hotel entrance |
| Hotel to a mission or the UN complex, car released | Point-to-point | The exact door the party may use that day |
| Car kept between bilateral meetings | Hourly or full-day | The order of buildings and the hard start times |
| Delegates leaving at different times | More than one vehicle | Who may leave early, and in which car |
| Vehicle | What to confirm | Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Business sedan | One itinerary for a smaller party. Confirm people and bags before treating it as enough car. | From $120/hour; three-hour minimum $360 |
| SUV | More cabin than a sedan. Confirm which SUV is assigned and whether the bags fit with the passengers. | From $150/hour; three-hour minimum $450 |
| Mercedes S-Class | Published flagship sedan. Confirm the date. The cabin is still a sedan, not a van. | From $230/hour; three-hour minimum $690 |
| Sprinter van with driver | One vehicle for a group that should travel together. Confirm the seat layout and remaining luggage space. | From $240/hour; three-hour minimum $720 |
Confirm the assigned configuration for your passengers and luggage. These are hourly starting amounts where a dollar figure is published; request a separate quote for a direct transfer. View rates and quote details
United Nations Headquarters sits in Midtown East. Public visitor information and General Assembly materials are published by the UN. Delegate access, garage use and street restrictions during the General Assembly are set for that session by the UN and New York City. They change by session.
Credentials and closed streets are set by the UN and the City for that session. If your security team has an approved door or a time window, send that instruction. Otherwise the car stops where current rules and the venue allow.
Most UN weeks are hotel-to-meeting-to-hotel, plus an airport at each end. Write the hotel’s guest entrance, not only the brand name. A Midtown hotel can have a motor lobby on a different street from the address in the brochure.
List principals separately from support staff if they cannot share a car. A Sprinter keeps a larger party together and starts at $240 an hour, three-hour minimum $720, once the layout is confirmed. A principal who needs a sedan cabin is the $120 sedan or the $230 S-Class, not an extra row in the staff van.
Delegations often split across JFK, Newark and private aviation at Teterboro. Each flight needs its own terminal or FBO, bag count and hotel. An international arrival is not ready for a meeting countdown when the aircraft parks.
If the same cars then stay for a day of bilaterals, switch that portion to hourly or full-day service. Eight sedan hours start at $960. The quote confirms tolls, parking and any extra waiting.
Send the access notice that applies to your dates, or tell us you do not have one yet. The car is planned to the addresses and doors you can document.
A social reception in the same week is a separate booking when it is not part of the meetings. Keep those run sheets apart so a dinner delay does not affect the next morning’s airport.
Your reservation
Name the delegation contact and the person who may change a stop.
List hotels, meetings and airports as separate lines with times.
Attach only the access instruction your team is actually authorized to use.
Split principals, staff and luggage across vehicles instead of one unnamed group.
Check the UN and City notices again the week of travel.
Before booking
No access is offered or implied. Credential rules and street restrictions are issued for each session by the UN and New York City. Send the instruction your delegation already has, or plan a lawful drop where the current notice allows.
Headquarters is in Midtown East. The usable door still depends on your credential and that year’s traffic plan. Put the hotel entrance and the permitted meeting entrance on the request rather than “near the UN.”
Decide who must ride together and who can leave on another schedule. A Sprinter starts at $240 an hour with a three-hour minimum of $720, but only after the layout and bags are confirmed. Several sedans may fit a staggered day better.
No UNGA surcharge is published. Hourly and transfer rates are the ordinary published starts. A longer permitted route is quoted for those dates.
Start with the UN General Assembly pages and UN visitor information, then the City or police advisory that names your travel dates. Those notices set access for the session.
